Annapurna Base Camp Helicopter Tour is for those who do not have all the time to trek to the Annapurna Base Camp but want to be there. This incredible chartered Himalayan helicopter flight allows you to see close up views of the Annapurna range and eventually takes you to the Annapurna base camp at the elevation of 4,130 meters above sea level.
This flight takes can be done straight from Kathmandu with a fueling stop at Pokhara but the best way to enjoy the trip is to fly to Pokhara by a plane and stop there for a sightseeing tour of Pokhara and fly to the ABC the next day. After a cultural sightseeing tour of Kathmandu, it is good to have a nice break at the serene atmosphere of Pokhara for a day before flying to the Annapurna Base Camp.
You can enjoy the view of mountain peaks in the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri range of the Himalayas. Once you land at the base camp you can spend about 15-30 minutes of memorable minutes exploring around and taking pictures.
Later, you fly back to Pokhara and spend a relaxing day lazing around the lakeside that day before returning back to Kathmandu the next day
There is a fixed departure flight from Pokhara to Annapurna Base Camp but it may not be available at all dates. Chartered flight is the best way to do it at any date though it costs slightly more expensive than the fixed departure costs.
Note: This wonderful trip can be done as a day trip from Pokhara if you are already in Pokhara on some other adventure.
